Thanks to our Bay Area media friends and to the hundreds of people who came out on a rainy Halloween for the “TRUNK OR TREAT” event in downtown Coos Bay yesterday! The bravest of the brave entered our “Haunted Mobile Radio Station” and, as best we could determine…all made it out safely! Let’s do it again next year!
SPOOKTACULAR…that’s what it is! “MEDIA MONSTER MASH” happens THIS EVENING featuring members of local media…RADIO, TV, PRINT MEDIA. We join forces to bring the Bay Area TRUNK OR TREAT…3 to 5pm directly across from Outdoor-In, Coos Bay. Costume prizes, more than a mountain of candy treats, and fun for the entire family. Join Roger W. Morgan and the LEGEND CREW for a HALLOWEEN TO REMEMBER!
An interview that was scheduled for 8am this morning didn’t happen. We apologize and want you to know that we will always strive to bring you the genuine legends when we present recording artists on our programs. The call with David Victor was requested by his agent in advance of a planned appearance here in Coos Bay. When David didn’t call at the pre-arranged time, we simply moved on. We later learned that David wasn’t the original lead singer of BOSTON, but joined the group well into their legendary career. He was featured in their personal appearances but not on their recordings. Our sincere apology.
Former Boston lead singer and guitarist, David Victor, joins Roger W. Morgan at 8am Tuesday “Morgan” to talk about one of the greatest American rock bands in history, and his upcoming appearance at Mill Casino on November 10th.
We discovered recently that Scott Partney Construction is all about a lot more than just major construction projects here in the Bay Area of the Southern Oregon Coast. As the photo indicates…they LOVE dogs and all kinds of 4-legged friends! It’s that love of pets and their valuable support for organizations including the Coos County Animal Shelter that has earned Scott Partney Construction our OUTSTANDING BUSINESS AWARD from 105.9-THE LEGEND and CHECKERBERRY’S FLOWERS AND GIFTS. Our own Roger W. Morgan presents the entire Sccott Partney team including their beautiful dogs, with the creative CHECKERBERRY’S floral arrangement and CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION.
…and he will be joining us at the media TRUNK OR TREAT in downtown Coos Bay on Halloween evening, October 31 in downtown Coos Bay. If you dare step inside the “HAUNTED MOBILE BROADCAST STUDIO”, you’re in for a TREAT!!
Words can’t express how careful you have to be when it starts getting colder outside. Start your day with a hot cup of Dutch Bros. Coffee…bundle up warm, and WATCH YOUR WORDS!!
